Mammoth Mountain Season Passes
- Published 03/10/2007
We're coming to the end of the season which means that MMSA is ready to start raking in the dough for the 2007/2008 season.
This year season pass sales will begin on 1 April 2007 and will continue through the end of the month. Make sure to set your alarm clock so that you don't miss the opportunity to purchase next years MVP8 pass.
There have been a few changes to the season pass line up for the coming year, which will certainly impact some buying decisions. The MVP8 pass has increased in price to a whopping $550 but is still a softer blow over the $1600 price tag for the MM Gold Pass.
The MM Silver Pass will be eliminated for the coming year. For a limited amount of time, for a limited quantity of passes, the MM Gold Pass can be purchased for 50% of the face value if purchased early. For the price of $750 we'll be able to buy the MM Gold Pass and basically have all of the benefits of the MVP pass.
Also a piece of disturbing news is that Intrawest may be eliminating the cross-resort discounts for season pass holders which means we won't be getting those 50% lift ticket discounts when we visit Whistler or Colorado or any of the other Intrawest winter resorts. If anyone else digs up more informations regarding the Intrawest rumor, post a comment please!

We can only hope that we see the same record snowfall that we received at our very own Mammoth Mountain. We're already getting off to a positive start this season as some of my favorite destinations have already started receiving snow; Colorado, Utah and as of this week Mammoth. Thats right! Mammoth received 4 inches of snow this week and it's not even Halloween yet.
