Subject: First trip to Alamitos Bay
Comment: At first glance of this charming kayak rental shop, located on a small strech of shoreline bordering the Alamitos Bay, my first impressions were deceiving. The most disappointing point of this shop was the poor condition of the kayaks and safety equipment. The second most disappointing point is that this shop charges twice as much for their kayak rentals than other shops in SoCal.I wasn't thrilled with the condition of the kayaks or the fact that the life vests we're stored soaking wet, covered in sand and reissued to new customers. The least they can do is pretend to be concerned about customer safety. They did extend us the group rate so this is a plus for the folks at "Kyaks on the Water". I still don't know what it was in the water that stained all of our cloths but the majority of "What Ever" came out in the wash.
